Job Description- Responsible for case and profit increase in disposables, non-foods, equipment, supplies, cleaning supplies and chemical product categories for Performance South Texas operating company.
- Conduct product education and sales training of Sales Team, Customer Service, and Sales Management in classroom and field for these product categories.
- Evaluate inventory to ensure operating company has proper mix of products meeting customer needs and ease of selling for Sales Team.
- Communicate with suppliers and assist implementing programs benefiting the operating company and suppliers; collaborate with key partner suppliers to grow their business.
- Function as a team member within the department and organization, perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
- Participate in product training meetings that may take place overnight, in or out of state.
- Work closely with Sales Team, Customers, Non-Foods Buyer, Category Manager, Marketing Team, and VP Purchasing; operate within Corporate administered purchasing programs, including earned income programs.
- Minimize cost of goods with manufacturers and suppliers through assistance in negotiations.
- Build marketing material, create promotions and presentations to support case growth of Sales Team and benefit customers.
- Provide merchandising support to sales by preparing bids, providing product training and information, recommending pricing strategies and planning promotions.
- Design training aids to assist the education of customers, Sales Team, Customer Service and Buyer.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in non-foods (disposables and smallwares) sales and/or purchasing in the food service industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales/Marketing, Business or related area.
- 3–5 years of experience in non-foods (disposables and smallwares) sales and/or purchasing in the food service industry.
