Business Management​/Accounting Instructor

Position: *Business Management/Accounting Instructor
The Career & Technical Education Department is recruiting for a full time Business Management/Accounting Instructor to begin teaching in the Fall 2026 semester.  This position is a tenured track, nine-month faculty position.  Teaching assignment includes various Business Management and Accounting courses. Position is also responsible for committee work and other duties as assigned by the department chair or dean.  Teaching assignments may include evening and weekend classes and/or classes at one of the college's off-campus locations as well as classes taught using interactive television and online.

The minimum earned monthly range for teaching nine months is $5,453.00 to $6,511.44. The annual salary is calculated by using the "earned" monthly x 9 months. The annual salary is paid out over twelve months to determine the paid monthly.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

Regular faculty members help students achieve learning outcomes by teaching assigned classes in accordance with established guidelines and policies and participate in advising and committee assignments, other academic and institutional support activities, and supervisory responsibilities as assigned.

Required:

* A Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in accounting or a certified public accountant with a Bachelor's degree in business

* Experience with, or willingness to learn, online course development and teaching

* Computer literacy including experience with Quick Books
