The Allied Health Department is recruiting for three full‑time, nine‑month, tenured‑track Associate Degree Nursing Program Instructors to begin teaching August 2026. These positions are responsible for classroom and clinical instruction and evaluation in an integrated curriculum.
The minimum earned monthly range for teaching nine months is $5,780.33 to $6,511.44. The annual salary is calculated by using the earned monthly amount times nine months, and it is paid out over twelve months to determine the paid monthly amount.
In addition to the earned salary, there is an annual market scarcity up to $5,000.00.

- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with a Master's Degree in a related field and six graduate hours in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- A minimum of three years of nursing clinical experience, preferably in adult medical‑surgical nursing and pediatric and/or maternity nursing.
- Current unencumbered Texas Registered Professional Nursing license.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn advanced computer skills.
- Online course development experience or willingness to learn.
- Discretionary judgment regarding confidential information.
- Ability to accomplish basic business tasks, meet deadlines, and interpret policies and procedures.
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact with diverse groups.
- Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Teaching experience in an Associate Degree Nursing program.
- Online course development experience.

Physical Requirements- Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle controls, key pads, etc.
- Will be required to sit and reach with hands and arms.
- Will be required to stand and walk for a minimum of 6‑8 hours during clinical or nursing lab sessions, which may include up to a consecutive 12‑hour shift.
- Requires some stooping, lifting and moving during patient clinical demonstrations.
- The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 15‑20 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, some color vision, and the ability to adjust focus from documents to computer screen.
- Hearing of light to moderate sound is required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
