Adjunct Instructors For Nursing Programs
The Division of Allied Health is hiring part-time Adjunct Instructors for the clinical setting of the ADN and VN Nursing Programs. Adjunct Instructors are needed at our Victoria campus as well as in the Gonzales, and Hallettsville locations. Salary Based on Instructional Units (one instructional unit is equivalent to 16 contact hours per semester). $655.67/per instructional unit in the Fall/Spring/Summer.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide instruction to students in a meaningful clinical, classroom and/or laboratory learning environment.
QualificationsAssociate Degree Nursing Program:
Clinical Instructors:
Requires unencumbered license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas; a minimum of a Bachelors of Science in Nursing prepared required; a Master's degree in nursing or Master's degree preferred in a related field with 6 graduate hours in nursing, and 3 yrs. recent experience providing direct patient care in an acute care setting. (Official and Unofficial transcripts are required for all graduate level work.)
Vocational Nursing Program:
Clinical Instructors:
Requires Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution with a current unencumbered Texas Registered Professional Nursing License; minimum of three years recent direct patient care nursing experience in adult medical-surgical nursing, basic computer skills and willingness to learn advanced skills.
