Job Summary

Airswift is seeking a highly motivated Construction Lead III to manage brownfield upstream well-site construction projects at a major oil & gas company in George West, TX. The role is field‑based, involves supervising construction crews, safety teams, and commissioning equipment, and requires close collaboration with operations and facility engineering to improve reliability, production efficiency, and HSE performance.

• Lead and supervise brownfield upstream well‑site construction projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies.
• Participate in engineering design reviews and interpret P&IDs to align construction with design intent.
• Conduct site walk‑downs and document site conditions accurately.
• Select materials, develop bills of materials, and monitor project costs to maintain budgetary control.
• Oversee contractor work, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule alignment.
• Implement and maintain regulatory compliance and industry regulations.
• Initiate improved construction practices to reduce costs and elevate site safety.
• Execute corrective maintenance through troubleshooting, analysis, and problem‑solving.
• Apply energy isolation, LOTO, and critical safety systems rigorously.
• Coordinate with office‑based and field engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain strict control and documentation of the Permit to Work system.
• Report activities that could impact safe process operation or system performance.
• Model company Code of Conduct, Values, and Behaviors in daily interactions.

• 5+ years of project‑management experience in construction, specifically well‑site projects.
• Proven experience managing brownfield upstream well‑site construction.
• Strong understanding of engineering design reviews, P&, and site walk‑downs.
• Ability to develop bills of materials and monitor project costs effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing construction crews and contractor oversight.
• In‑depth knowledge of industry regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Capability to initiate and implement safety‑and‑cost‑reducing construction practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills for corrective maintenance.
• Experience with energy isolation, LOTO, and critical safety systems.
• Strong planning, execution, and coordination skills for construction projects.
• Familiarity with reporting safety‑relevant activities impacting processes or systems.
• Knowledge of the Permit to Work system and its effective implementation.
• Adherence to company health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) practices.
