Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Vascular Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

• Call every 3rd weekend and rotational call during the week

• No floating to other departments

• No 48-hour option available

• No block scheduling

• Maximum RTO (Request Time Off) of 3 days

• 1:1 patient ratio

• Perform echocardiograms and venous/arterial Dopplers

• Must demonstrate advanced knowledge and skill in trans-thoracic contrast echocardiograms

• Graduate of approved program in echocardiography and vascular technology/sonography required

• Vascular registration highly preferred

• Registry preferred in echocardiography and vascular technology by ARDMS or CCI

• 2 years' experience in echo and vascular required

• BLS certification required

• Experience with IV line placement and IV medication administration desirable

• Experience in EKG interpretation and cardiac/vascular stress testing preferred

• Any scrub color except hunter green

• EMR systems:
Med Host and Care Stream

• Must be located greater than 50 miles from the facility
