Position: Audiologist (4-Day Work Week)

For more than 30 years, Victoria Hearing Center has provided comprehensive hearing care to Victoria and the surrounding communities. Founded by the physicians of Victoria ENT & Allergy Associates, the practice operates as a trusted, ENT-affiliated clinic delivering diagnostic audiology and hearing aid services in a collaborative medical setting.

They are seeking an Audiologist to provide hearing tests, diagnostic audiology, hearing aid dispensing, patient counseling, and ongoing patient care for pediatric through geriatric patients. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, service-driven, and enjoys educating patients while helping them find the best hearing solutions for their lifestyle.

Scope of Practice
  • Perform hearing tests and diagnostic audiology for pediatric through geriatric patients, including Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA) and Conditioned Play Audiometry (CPA).
  • Evaluate hearing loss, interpret diagnostic findings, and develop individualized treatment recommendations.
  • Provide patient counseling and patient education regarding hearing loss, hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and connectivity options.
  • Recommend, fit, program, verify, and dispense hearing aids from multiple manufacturers.
  • Provide follow-up care, hearing aid adjustments, troubleshooting, repairs, and long-term patient management.
  • Perform cerumen management within scope of practice and coordinate physician referrals when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with ENT physicians and clinical staff to deliver coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
  • Audiologist:
    Master's or Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) with an active Texas license or ability to obtain.
  • Hearing Instrument Specialist:
    Active Texas Hearing Instrument Specialist license or ability to obtain.
  • Strong communication, patient counseling, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with diagnostic audiology and hearing aid dispensing preferred.
