Operations

As a Welder I in Victoria, Texas, you will safely build quality attachments that enhance the productivity and utility of Caterpillar machines. Working with a team in a modern, climate‑controlled environment, you will use semi‑automatic MIG welders, robotic welding technology, and advanced techniques to produce high‑quality parts while maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

• Compensation:
  Competitive pay starting at $19.10 /hr plus a Quarterly Goal Sharing Bonus, with opportunities for promotion based on performance, attendance, and business needs.

• Potential to advance into operations leadership and other advanced manufacturing roles.

You will:

• Hand weld in multiple positions to create parts using semi‑automatic MIG welders and .052 solid wire.
• Use robotic welding technology to enhance capabilities and efficiency.
• Apply advanced welding techniques while adhering to safety, quality, and standard work procedures.
• Use jib and overhead cranes to position parts and products.
• Work in one and two‑person weld zones that are clean, well‑ventilated, and equipped with the latest technologies.
• Commit to being on‑time and reliable.

• Welding certification OR a minimum of 6 months welding experience.
• Ability to work in a team, follow directions, and perform tasks accurately and thoroughly.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.

• Experience with MIG welding.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Flexibility to work overtime to support production demands.

Monday – Friday

$19.10/hr + Goal Sharing

$19.11 – $24.77 (may vary by level, location, performance, and experience)
