Position Summary:

This position works closely with operations to ensure the quality and accuracy of incoming/outgoing production equipment.

• Sustains quality in correlation with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Responsible for compilation and maintenance of inspection reports and records.
• Performs internal inspection. Visual inspection on vessel layout, fit and weld inspections. Reads blueprints and ISO drawings. Uses weld inspection tools. Witness hydro testing on vessels and pipe spools.
• Participates in the investigation of faulty work and consults with customers and management team.
• Interacts with customers, suppliers, vendors and division personnel regarding quality and production issues. Attends job production pre-planning meetings.
• Completes quality management documents associated with product disposition, including non-conformance documentation.
• Audits and recommends improvements to inspection processes.
• Assists in design reviews on cross-functional teams to ensure that product conforms to specifications.
• Uses knowledge of ASME Section VIII and Section IX code and oilfield production equipment.

Preferred Experience:

two (2) years industrial experience

• Bending, squatting, climbing, pulling, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures or in a shop environment.
