Outside Parts Sales Representative

Location:

Victoria, TX. Full‑time position.

• Sell products of the Parts Department, Service Department, and Body Shop.
• Generate quotes for products sold in the Parts Department, Service Department, and Body Shop.
• Follow up on leads and quotes generated by the Parts Department, Service Department, and Body Shop.
• Promote Vehicle Sales, gather leads and provide them to the Vehicle Sales Manager and Parts Manager.
• See each customer with the frequency required by the customer, but no less than every other week.
• Maintain contact with customers between visits.
• Remain updated regarding customers’ vehicles in the Service Department or Body Shop and keep customers updated on status.
• When returning customer parts or cores to the dealership, complete all necessary paperwork (RGA, Core Tags, Warranty Requests, etc.).
• Communicate with the Warehouse Manager when any returns of new parts or cores are expected from customers.
• Maintain updated Customer Profile Sheets for each customer visited; turn these sheets into the Parts Manager weekly;
  Customer Profile Sheets double as Call Sheets, and completing them is a requirement for each visit.
• Use company vehicles to conduct business; required to be at the first customer no later than 8 am and leave the last customer no earlier than 5 pm.
• Utilize performance analysis tools to grow total sales and focus on increasing penetration of maintenance parts within the customer base.
• Generate new customer leads.
