• Monday to Friday - Full time hours

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Dingley Village. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in mechanical maintenance and engineering trades while gaining hands‑on experience and formal training.

• Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will learn how to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery in a safe and professional environment.
• Assist qualified fitters with maintenance and repair work
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Learn to diagnose mechanical faults and breakdowns
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely
• Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Complete apprenticeship training and coursework requirements

• Genuine interest in mechanical trades and maintenance.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Mechanically minded with problem‑solving ability
• Reliable, punctual and safety focused
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Driver's licence preferred but not essential.

• Completion of Year 10 or equivalent
• Commitment to completing a trade apprenticeship
• Basic maths and literacy skills
• Previous workshop or mechanical experience highly regarded
