808 – Field Officer Excavator Operator (Civil Maintenance) Central (Tatura)

Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is Australia’s largest rural water corporation responsible for storing, managing and delivering water across most of northern Victoria.

GMW is seeking an experienced Field Service Officer to join our Infrastructure Delivery Services team and contribute to the ongoing maintenance and improvement of our irrigation and dam infrastructure. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in hands‑on work, and thrives both independently and as part of a supportive team. If you’re self‑motivated, adaptable, and eager to take on meaningful, challenging tasks in the field, this is an opportunity to play a key part in keeping essential water systems functioning.

• Assist with both planned and unplanned maintenance programmes for irrigation and dam infrastructure.
• Carry out a range of field-based tasks, including excavator operations for channel bank leak repairs and general plant operation.
• Record and report work details using Maximo and other systems.
• Work independently and as part of a team, tackling a variety of practical and technical challenges.

• Industry Recognised Safety Industry Card
• HR Truck Licence
