At Statewide Rehabilitation Services (SRS), your skills will be backed by a team that values your professional judgement, supports your development and gives you room to do the work properly.
Across our community offices and custodial facilities, our team gives young people involved in the justice system the consistent clinical care they need to rebuild their lives.
Using evidence-informed practice, you will guide the young people through life-changing shifts in mindset, behaviour and self-belief. You will empower them to make positive choices, and learn new skills to reduce harmful behaviours. It's complex and challenging work. But it's work that makes a real difference both to young people's futures and to our state's safety.
We are currently recruiting for permanent and fixed-term opportunities at our Malmsbury precinct, offering a great work/life balance in the countryside of central Victoria. We also offer a $10K relocation allowance for eligible candidates who are thinking of moving to within an hour's drive of the facility.
You will:
Work within a forensic framework with young people who engage in serious offending behaviour and may present as a moderate to high risk of reoffending.
Use your skills and judgement to deliver therapeutic interventions for young people with complex needs and build respectful, supportive relationships.
Contribute to a strong team culture where peer support and collaboration with other stakeholders are central to success.
Take part in regular training and development, with one day each month dedicated to your learning.
