Foundedin 2013, Third Coast Distributing is part of a global service organization that distributes automotive and industrialreplacement parts. Doing business as NAPA Auto Parts, TCD serves thousands of customers through an independent network across South and Central Texas.

Our Delivery Drivers are the key to our success, delivering excellent customer experiences and developing long-standing relationships with our customers. Position reports to the Store Manager.

• Provide outstanding customer experiences while meeting customers during deliveries.
• Drive adelivery vehicle to transport parts and products to customers, including the loading and unloading of parts.
• Pick upparts from other stores or outside vendors, ensure stock room parts are accurately stocked and maintain/check inventory.
• Maintain adistribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made.
• Maintainstore delivery truck through adherence to safety checklists, ensuringvehicle is clean, and that basic maintenance is done (e.g., correct tirepressure).
• Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager.
• Drive safely and defensively, adhering to all company safety standards.
• Follows all company policies, procedures, dress code and management direction,including all fleet and safety policies.

The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• A minimum of 2years’ driving experience.
• Familiarity with automotive parts is desired but not required.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• High School diplomaor equivalent.
• Knowledge ofcataloging and/or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Good organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Frequent travel between locations by vehicle on behalf of the company; must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license.
• Local,customer-focused delivery experience.
• Commercial Driver’sLicense (CDL) is not required.

• Scan,handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting ormoving merchandise up to 60 pounds.
