We’re hiring a Regional Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, and operational finance for a multi‑location transportation operation. This role partners closely with operations to drive efficiency, improve cost visibility, and ensure financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead close processes (month, quarter, year‑end)
- Prepare GAAP‑compliant financials
- Analyze route, labor, fuel, and maintenance costs
- Track capex and asset utilization
- Support operations with performance insights
- Maintain controls and support audits
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Manage and develop staff
- Improve systems and reporting
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus)
- 6–10 years of experience
- Transportation or asset‑heavy industry preferred
- Strong GAAP, ERP, and Excel skills
- Experience supporting field/route operations is a plus
We’re looking for a hands‑on leader who can connect financial data to operational performance and drive results.
