Job Details:
Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our team in the Healthcare/Commercial Construction sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing healthcare and commercial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints. This role involves managing both ground-up construction and tenant improvement projects, as well as renovations.
The candidate should have a strong background in project management and budgeting, with a particular focus on healthcare construction and behavioral health environments.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of healthcare and commercial construction projects, from planning to implementation.
- Manage the budgeting and financial aspects of projects, ensuring that all work is completed within budgetary constraints.
- Supervise ground-up construction, tenant improvements, and renovations.
- Lead and manage project teams, including architects, engineers, and construction workers.
- Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met.
- Handle any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process, and devise solutions to overcome these challenges.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and building regulations.
- Regularly report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably in healthcare construction.
- Proven experience in managing ground-up construction, tenant improvements, and renovations.
- Strong knowledge of construction budgeting and financial management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage project teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.
- Strong understanding of safety and building regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) is a plus.
- Experience in managing construction projects in behavioral health environments is highly desirable.
