Is seeking Experienced Modification Technicians to support the 787 Commercial Modifications team in Victorville, California
!

This position will provide critical production support to the Delivery Center including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product quality. Qualified candidates will perform rework, modification, maintenance, preflight and post-flight checks for delivery.

• Performs flight test installations and aircraft functional testing
• Assists in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and electrical/electronic faults and assists in repairing faulty components
• Assists with pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs maintenance and modification actions
• Resolves identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products
• Verifies the accuracy of work performed and may conduct self-inspection
• Assists in performing system & sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for delivery
• Participates in determining details of assignments to accomplish a wide range of objectives
• Plans, schedules and arranges own activities with the assistance of lead. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives
• Proficient in Boeing heavy C&D checks
• Proficient in Boeing Landing gear removal and replacement
• Proficient in Boeing structural modifications

• 3+ years of avionics and/or electrical experience.
• 3+ years’ experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations.
• 3+ years’ experience/knowledge with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant license.
• Composite repair certifications

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Starting Rate of Pay: $75,000 - $98,000 annually
