JOB TITLE: EVS Supervisor
REPORTS TO: EVS Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:The EVS supervisor provides assistant to the EVS manager and supervises EVS employees. This position ensures a consistently high level of cleanliness, environmental hygiene, and aesthetic standards throughout the facility for patients, visitors and staff. The supervisor provides leadership to EVS personnel, ensures compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements, and collaborates with department leaders to support safe, sanitary, and efficient operations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Sufficient previous experience in housekeeping functions. A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Previous supervisory experience required. Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform repetitive tasks effectively.
