Pay Rate: $16.50/hour About Our Retail TeamBecome part of the dedicated Retail Team at The Salvation Army! Together, we serve and impact our community through our Victorville Thrift Store, supporting the Adult Rehabilitation Program. - Maintain and clean the donation area at the start and end of shifts
- Assist donors with donations and provide receipts
- Maintain reports and paperwork as instructed
- Sort and organize donated items properly
- Assist with loading donations onto trucks as needed
- Notify supervisor of supplies needed
- Secure the donation trailer/pod at shift end
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- Pass background check (criminal and sex offender registry)
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects up to 75 lbs
- Perform repetitive motions
- Perform duties with or without accommodations
Stores operate 7 days a week. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. The organization complies with COVID-19 safety measures, including vaccination policies and exemptions.
