Responsibilities
  • Perform all approved laboratory procedures in assigned areas of licensure.
  • Exercise independent judgment under minimum to moderate supervision.
  • Interpret results, take appropriate actions, and report timely outcomes to meet patient needs.
  • Determine acceptability or rejection of results per standards and request assistance when necessary.
  • Document corrective actions for quality control deviations.
  • Follow best practices, compliance policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain high‑quality test performance through daily maintenance and supply management.
  • Practice infection control with hand hygiene and PPE use.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • American Medical Technologist, Certified Lab Specialist, Clinical Lab Scientist, MLT or MLS certification required.
