Job Summary
This position is primarily responsible for warehouse and assembly operations using a Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) to move goods and materials at the Vidalia, GA location.
Responsibilities- Moves goods and material within a production environment using a Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV).
- Loading, unloading, or moving goods and material from one location to another with a forklift or other PIV.
- Operates warehouse computer software with moderate expertise.
- Observes equipment operation to detect malfunctions.
- Supports plant cost reductions and process improvement projects through the use of various lean methods and techniques.
- Assists in process improvement efforts by working with Process Engineers to identify, implement, and validate process changes.
- Participates in lean manufacturing and plant initiatives as needed.
- Utilizes a variety of PIV equipment.
- Must have a valid Forklift/Tugger License.
- 5+ years’ experience in warehouse operations.
- Must have Ultriva experience.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English; understand simple written or oral instructions.
- Ability to work in a team environment with limited supervision.
- Work any shift and work overtime as necessary to ensure production demands are realized.
- Work multiple jobs both within and outside assigned work area.
- Use all required safety gear and equipment.
- Comply with all established Plant rules and policies.
- Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
- Adhere to dress code.
- Perform tasks requiring hand and eye coordination, good hand dexterity (gripping and pinching repetitively) for more than two-thirds of the work shift.
- Lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing 10 pounds continuously, 25 pounds repetitively, and 50 pounds occasionally; lifting or carrying objects over 50 pounds requires a two-person lift or lift assist.
- Bend, twist, squat, kneel, and/or stoop repetitively.
- Reach overhead repetitively for more than two-thirds of the work shift.
- Stand continuously for 8 to 10 hours per day.
- Climb up and down stairs up to 3 hours per day.
- Use senses to detect quality defects and unsafe conditions; moderate physical exertion.
- Visual acuity: 70-degree field of vision; discern depth; pass color vision test; at least 20/40 vision in each eye for far and near, with or without corrective lens.

No. Compensation may vary based on seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
