Plate Mounter

Job Summary

Giro Pack, Inc. has an opening for a Plate Mounter position at our Vidalia, GA location. Plate Mounters play an integral part in the manufacturing of products within the packaging industry and are responsible for the overall plate mounting operations with an emphasis on quality and efficiency as outlined by customer and manufacturing specifications.

• Shift: 2nd (2:00 pm – 10:00 pm) or 3rd (10:00 pm – 6:00 am), Monday‑Friday.
• Training: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday‑Friday until completed.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

• Safely operate mounting plates machine & cleaning plates machine.
• Follow printing planning orders and priorities.
• Maintain/clean/lube machinery & work area according to procedures.
• Complete required forms/documents.
• Follow all inspection procedures.
• Receive, identify, check, operate and archive all mounting plates as required.
• Report all shortcomings, imperfections and mechanical/electrical incidents to supervisor.
• Ensure plates correspond to the proper job assignment.

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds).
• Commitment to safety rules.
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Problem‑solving skills.
• Communication and teamwork skills.
• Quality and attention to detail focused.
• Warehouse experience is an asset, but not required.
• Must be able/willing to work a flexible schedule.

Salary: $12.00 per hour. Job type:
