Licensed Practical Nurse- LPN

Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our Urology practice at Meadows Ln. This full‑time position (Monday – Friday, day shift) requires no nights, no on‑call, no weekends, and no holidays.

• Manage efficient patient flow, including screening, exam preparation, instruction on sample/test collection, and vitals collection.
• Notify patients of test results, follow‑up appointments, and provide medication and treatment instructions.
• Manage patient records, including chart entries and posting lab/test and examination results.
• Schedule tests and treatments, arrange specialist referrals, and obtain pre‑authorizations as directed by the provider.
• Assist providers with physical exams and preparation for physicals.
• Contact pharmacy to order prescriptions and notify patients.
• Control inventory and monitor supply levels.
• Record patient health history and note abnormal conditions for physicians.
• Respond to and screen telephone calls for referrals to nurses or physicians.
• Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow.

• A degree from an accredited school of practical nursing is required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse following state regulations.
