Job Brief

We are seeking private music instructors for Voice in the Vidor, TX area. Unlimited learning opportunities with a community dedicated to learning to play from the heart.

Pay: $20 - $30 an hour (dependent on travel time, experience/education, and student retention rate). Independent contractor basis.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Job Location s: Vidor, TX. Lessons may occur at students' homes, your own home or studio, or via webcam. Must be available to travel within the Vidor area.

• Deliver private music instruction in voice to students of all ages.
• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans.
• Attend in-person or remote (via webcam) lessons.
• Maintain student attendance and retention; communicate with students and parents regularly.

• Formal music training preferred, but at minimum a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience is required.
• Strong communication skills and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and set own schedule.

• Contractor status:
  Billing handled by Taylor Robinson Music to lighten administrative load.
• Students choose lesson format: in-person or webcam (small portion via webcam).

• Wear mask when visiting students.
• Sanitize hands and practice social distancing as appropriate.
