Melt Shop Superintendent

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Melt Shop Superintendent to join their team. As a Melt Shop Superintendent, you will be part of the operations department supporting the production and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Melt Shop Superintendent

Location: Vidor, Texas

Pay Range: $180,000 - $200,000

• Oversee daily melt shop operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met
• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to optimize workflow and minimize downtime
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and environmental regulations
• Manage personnel, including training, performance evaluations, and team development
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction

• Proven experience in melt shop or similar manufacturing environments
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
