Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Melt Shop Superintendent to join their team. As a Melt Shop Superintendent, you will be part of the operations department supporting the production and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Melt Shop Superintendent
Location: Vidor, Texas
Pay Range: $180,000 - $200,000
What's the Job?- Oversee daily melt shop operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to optimize workflow and minimize downtime
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Manage personnel, including training, performance evaluations, and team development
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction
- Proven experience in melt shop or similar manufacturing environments
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
