• Execute technical bolting and joint integrity services in accordance with approved site and company procedures.
• Operate calibrated tools, including torque wrenches, pneumatic and hydraulic torquing equipment, and calibrate equipment as required.
• Identify and use all tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned work.
• Properly bolt up flanges using correct materials as indicated on the BOM.
• Identify when a flange connection is not properly installed, including hi/lo, wrong gasket, or bolts.

• Actively participate in a strong safety culture.
• Recognize safety hazards and risks.
• Participate in onsite safety meetings.
• Follow OPD and client safety policies and procedures.
• Be aware of changing conditions on an active job site.
• Be on time to the job site each day ready for work.
• Display a positive attitude and be able to work in a team environment.
• Have high attention to detail to avoid reworks and errors.
• Meet physical demands of the role, including working in outdoor weather conditions, lifting up to 60 lbs, standing up to 11 hours, and performing tasks while wearing a full‑body harness and lanyard.

At least 2 years of experience as a Torque Technician.

• Previous experience in a gas plant construction environment.
• Prior leadership of safety initiatives.
• Familiarity with welding basics.
