Rig Welders - Pipeline & Plant Construction - Vidor, TX
Optimized Process Designs is hiring Rig Welders in Vidor, TX for gas plant and pipeline construction projects. This position requires welders to supply their own rig and equipment and pass strict ASME and AWS code tests. Ideal candidates have pipe welding experience in petrochemical or oil & gas environments and are comfortable working in remote field conditions for extended periods.

- Minimum 2 years of welding experience
- Ability to pass ASME Section IX and AWS D1.1 code welding tests
- Ownership of a personal rig with all required tools and PPE
- Willingness to travel and work 12-hour shifts, 7 days per week
- Physically able to perform job functions outdoors and at height
- 5+ years welding experience in gas plant or pipeline construction
- Proven safety leadership on job sites
- Experience with full-body harness use and elevated platform work
- Strong communication and ability to work independently on remote projects
