Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Electrical Department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

Location:

Vidor, Texas

Pay Range: $30 - $35 per hour

What's the Job?

• Inspect, install, repair, and calibrate electrical and electronic apparatus and circuits of various voltages within the plant.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility and production equipment, including motors, generators, transformers, and control systems.
• Design, install, and maintain communication and computer wiring, circuits, and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform mechanical repairs such as replacing bearings, gears, shafts, and other components on electrical equipment.
• Follow safety procedures, analyze circuits, and ensure minimal interference with operations during maintenance tasks.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of direct electrician experience, with the ability to pass an Electrical Union Test (Electrician Test).
• Knowledge of motors, controls, schematics, print reading, AC/DC theory, and test instruments.
• Experience with PLCs, process controls, sensors, and automation systems.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications for installation and repair tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work rotating shifts (4 on - 4 off, 12-hour shifts).
