Korn Ferry has partnered with a Healthcare company during a major growth stage. We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead all accounting, financial reporting, compliance, treasury, and internal control functions for a rapidly growing, private equity-backed healthcare services organization. This individual will serve as a key member of the finance leadership team, partnering closely with executive management to support continued growth, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in healthcare or pharmacy-related industries and have experience operating within a private equity-backed environment. This role requires a hands‑on leader who can build scalable processes, improve reporting capabilities, and support the financial infrastructure of a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and month‑end close.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting procedures.
- Manage external audits, tax compliance, and relationships with auditors and third‑party advisors.
- Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations supporting strategic decision‑making.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor liquidity, working capital, and treasury functions.
- Assist with acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic growth initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with operations, revenue cycle, compliance, legal, and commercial leadership teams.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor a high‑performing accounting team.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA designation strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Director of Accounting leadership role.
- Required experience within a healthcare, pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical services, PBM, healthcare technology, infusion services, or related healthcare services organization.
- Required experience working within a private equity-backed company, including experience supporting sponsor reporting, lender requirements, and growth through acquisition initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience managing annual audits and technical accounting matters.
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable accounting processes within a growing organization.
- Strong ERP and financial systems experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and business partnering skills.

- Companies that have grown through acquisitions and integrations.
- Experience reporting to a private equity sponsor and executive leadership team.
- Exposure to debt covenant reporting, board reporting, and KPI‑driven operating environments.
The successful candidate will be a hands‑on finance leader with deep healthcare or pharmacy industry expertise and a proven track record within private equity‑backed organizations. They will bring a balance of technical accounting strength, operational leadership, and strategic thinking, helping the company scale effectively while maintaining financial discipline and reporting excellence.
