• Minimum of (a) eight (8) years of recent experience as a weather forecaster, shift supervisor, graphics producer, and/or Senior Duty Officer (SDO) supporting DoD operations
• Experience with the standard AFWWS (JET and LEADS, or their replacements), or must possess a military background and have reached a 7-level or equivalent experience certification in US Air Force Specialty Codes 1W0X1 or 15WX or US Navy Classification Codes 7412 or 1800. In lieu of the military background, Civil Service employees with 8 years’ experience in 1340 or 1341 job classifications are acceptable.
  
  SDO and limited data forecasting experience are highly desired.

• May require extended hours during deadlines
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs
