Position Overview

Omari Construction is seeking a Part‑Time Assistant Superintendent to support field operations across active job sites. This role is ideal for an experienced construction professional seeking flexible hours while contributing to high‑quality project execution.

You will work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to help maintain schedule, safety, and quality standards on‑site.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in supervising daily jobsite activities to ensure work meets safety and quality standards
• Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and field operations to support project schedules
• Conduct site walks, maintain daily logs, and help track progress
• Identify and help resolve field issues in a timely manner
• Support safety compliance and enforce OSHA and company standards
• Assist with punch lists, project closeout, and turnover documentation
• Communicate effectively with field teams, vendors, and project leadership

What You Bring

• 3–8 years of construction experience (commercial or residential)
• Working knowledge of construction sequencing and jobsite coordination
• Familiarity with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and support multiple priorities
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on‑site (standing/walking for extended periods)
