Part Time Care Coordinator - Emergency

We are seeking an experienced coordinator to support our emergency veterinary department. This role encompasses a range of administrative and customer‑service responsibilities, acting as the primary point of contact for pet owners, and assisting with clinic operations.

As a Care Coordinator – Emergency, you will provide excellent customer service in‑person and over the phone, manage lobby flow, handle basic medical emergencies, assist with medication pickups, process financial transactions, and support clinical staff.

• Provide excellent customer service in‑person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations.
• Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments.
• Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being.
• Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products.
• Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
• Assist with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
• Reconcile cash drawer and perform end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions.

• 2‑3 years of experience in reception for human or veterinary medicine.
• Veterinary Assistant experience is a plus.

• Part time, rotating shift.
• Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts as needed.

$16.65 – $20.34 USD per hour.
