Role SummaryThis role involves consulting with Navy Federal's leaders to identify critical learning gaps and recommend learning solutions aligned with enterprise strategy. The position requires collaborating with operational partners to support organizational learning needs, curating content, and serving as a subject matter expert in instructional design. Key responsibilities include measuring the effectiveness of learning programs and ensuring alignment with the organization's culture and goals.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with business leaders to identify learning needs, expectations for change, and training plan updates.
- Conduct analysis on training requests and recommend behavioral strategies.
- Develop learning strategies, tactics, and solutions; design, develop, or curate content for professional development and upskilling.
- Support the facilitation of learning sessions for professional development and upskilling topics.
- Use quantitative and qualitative methods to measure and analyze the effectiveness of training programs.
- Utilize instructional design tools and generative strategies (including AI) to develop courses, graphics, and A/V assets.
- Mentor less experienced team members and support leaders in identifying skill gaps.
- Act as a liaison between Enterprise Learning, Talent Development, and HR Business Partners.
- Participate in large-scale and cross-department projects.
- Remain current with industry best practices, including data tracking and AI design strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Human Resources, Business, Communication, Behavioral Sciences, Program Management, or a related field.
- OR equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
- Significant experience in program management, learning science, instructional design, organizational development, or training implementation and evaluation.
- Extensive experience developing content for synchronous and asynchronous learning.
- Experience conducting needs assessment and analysis for large-scale learning solutions.
- Experience evaluating post-operationalization metrics to assess training impact/ROI.
- Expert knowledge of instructional theories, educational psychology, and related tools.
- Proven ability to influence, lead, and guide others towards goals and position learning as a business strategy component.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders (team members, management, vendors).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting in front of groups.
- Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
