Navy Federal Credit Union is a mission-driven financial institution serving America’s military heroes and their families. We’re looking for a talented Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial statements.

• You’ll be responsible for preparing internal and external financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) – think Board reports, regulatory filings, and retirement plan statements.
• You’ll analyze financial data, identify trends, and stay on top of new accounting regulations to ensure compliance with US GAAP.
• You’ll also be a subject matter expert, collaborating with internal teams and auditors to address complex accounting issues.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA license preferred).
• Experience analyzing and reporting financial information.
• Experience in public or private accounting, applying accounting treatments and resolving issues.
• Strong accounting software skills (People Soft, Hyperion Essbase, Workiva, Tableau are a plus).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

• Experience with financial institutions (credit unions or banks).
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
