- Assists in complex projects which utilize management analysis and research techniques to identify: short, medium, and long-term policy options, impacts of policies to stakeholders & laws, and priorities.
- Assists in the review of materials.
- Prepares reports detailing the efficacy of programs and policies, strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations.
- Assesses the impact of proposed legislation and prepared fiscal estimates.
- Present analyses and recommendations to committees.
- Promotes data-driven policy. High level of knowledge of program, policy, and funding issues.
- Strong public presentation skills.
- Provides editorial and content feedback.
- Evaluates policy principles to describe values driving decisions and directions.
- Reviews requests and answers questions regarding policies and procedures.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required government security clearances.
- Bachelor of Science (BS), Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree and minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience.
