About the Role

Our client, a leading outpatient physical therapy provider, is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join their team in Vienna, VA. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a critical role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting daily clinic operations.

Responsibilities

+ Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes

+ Schedule appointments and follow-up visits

+ Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions and requests

+ Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system

+ Verify patient information and assist with registration processes

+ Provide exceptional customer service to patients, providers, and staff

+ Support clinic operations through administrative and front desk duties

+ Effectively multitask between patient interactions, phone calls, and computer work

Required Qualifications

+ Previous customer service experience

+ Experience working in a medical office, healthcare clinic, or patient-facing healthcare environment

+ Strong computer skills and ability to learn multiple software systems

+ Experience answering and managing high-volume phone calls

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Schedule

+ Monday - Thursday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

+ Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vienna, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
