The Resident Coordinator I is the staff responsible for the supervision of AMFM Healthcare's residents residing in AMFM Healthcare's Transitional Living Homes. The RCI helps to provide a safe, supportive, and caring environment to promote well-being, safety, and encourages clients to continue their recovery program. This position is expected to cooperate as a team member with AMFM Healthcare management and clinical staff.

The RCI has knowledge, skills, and experience with supervising client services and all related tasks to provide a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for clients, and is familiar with concepts of recovery from mental health and co-occurring disorders.

PRN/As-Needed Explained:
This is a PRN (as-needed) position. While shifts are not guaranteed on a set schedule, staff in this role are expected to pick up a minimum of one (1) shift per week when shifts are available. This helps ensure consistent coverage and continuity of care for residents. Shifts may include evenings, overnights, and weekends. This role may lead to full-time opportunities based on availability and performance.

• Successful completion of the ADP Selective Screening Services background check.
• Minimum Education al Requirement:
  High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred Education Requirement:
  Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or similar.
• Possess valid driver's license with ability to be insured by our auto insurance policy which includes, but not limited to, the following requirements: 4 continuous years of driving experience, 21 years of age or older, less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, and more than 1 major violation in the last 3 years.
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Current T.B. clearance

  Ability to work on a computer/keyboard, use electronic systems, communicate with others through written and verbal formats, ability to sit for long periods of time, listening, reading comprehension, lifting up to 25 lbs.

The Resident Coordinator I will be assigned projects, based on their level of expertise, that include any, or all the following job responsibilities.

• Coordinates and transports clients safely to all daily activities, ensuring the clients arrive on time to all scheduled activities, and ensures participant safety.
• Utilizes intervention and communication skills in working with clients, their families and significant others daily and in crisis.
• Rigorously adheres to all Joint Commission policies and procedures, including Waived Testing, Infection Prevention and Control, as well as Emergency Management and Environment of Care procedures.
• Proficiently navigate and utilize the Best Notes electronic health record system to document client activities effectively
• Collaborate with the program nurse and clinical team regarding reports of client behavior with medication side effects.
• Maintain the integrity of the residences, ensuring optimal cleanliness at all times and keeping the area hygienic.
