We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Recruiter to join our team. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent to meet the needs of our organization, with a strong focus on candidates experienced in government and federal sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of recruitment processes, and the ability to work effectively with hiring managers to fill a variety of roles.
Responsibilities
:
- Source and attract candidates using various platforms, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, with a focus on individuals experienced in government or federal contracts.
- Screen resumes and conduct interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs, with a focus on those with government or federal project experience.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide regular updates and reporting on recruitment progress to hiring managers and leadership.
- Stay current with industry trends, government regulations, and best practices to ensure effective recruiting strategies for federal projects.
- Coordinate pre-employment assessments, background checks, and other necessary steps in the hiring process.
Qualifications
:
- Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar talent acquisition role.
- Experience recruiting for government or federal clients is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Knowledge of labor laws and hiring regulations, particularly in the context of government and federal contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
