Job Description:The HR Generalist will manage the full employee lifecycle, ensure compliance across multiple states, and act as a trusted day-to-day HR resource for employees and managers. This is a hands-on role requiring independence, sound judgment, and strong HR fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities:- Own onboarding and offboarding processes for U.S.
-based employees - Act as the primary point of contact for employee HR questions and requests
- Maintain and audit employee data within the HRIS
- Administer benefits programs and coordinate with external vendors
- Manage leave processes including FMLA, state-specific leaves, and accommodations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Support audits, reporting, and documentation requirements
- Guide managers on HR processes, policies, and performance documentation
- Support performance review cycles and corrective action processes
- Intake and document employee relations matters, escalating as needed
- Execute HR initiatives and programs designed by leadership
- 4–7 years of progressive HR Generalist experience
- Strong background in U.S. employment law and multi-state compliance
- Experience supporting hybrid and remote work forces
- High attention to detail with strong documentation practices
- Confident, employee-facing communicator with sound judgment
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (Workday, Bamboo
HR, UKG, or similar) - Comfortable working independently with minimal day-to-day oversight
- High visibility and impact within the HR function
