The Human Resources Analyst provides technical and analytical support to human resources operations, including recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits, and compliance. The role involves gathering and analyzing HR data, preparing reports, and ensuring HR processes align with organizational policies and applicable regulations. The Human Resources Analyst plays a key role in supporting staff and management by providing timely, accurate, and compliant HR services.
Note:
This role is a contractor position in support of a government agency.
- Assist with recruitment processes, including posting positions, tracking applicants, and scheduling interviews.
- Support onboarding and orientation for new employees.
- Compile, analyze, and report HR data related to staffing, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
- Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of personnel data.
- Provide support for HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Assist with performance management processes, employee training, and development initiatives.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related issues.
- Coordinate with payroll and benefits providers as needed.
- Prepare reports and presentations for HR leadership and project management.
- Identify and share trends to enhance processes like recruitment, retention, and employee engagement.
- Collect, manage, and analyze human resources data such as turnover, satisfaction, and staffing reports.
- Develop regular and ad hoc HR reports, dashboards, and presentations to inform decision-makers.
- 2–3 years of experience in human resources, HR analytics, or administrative support.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with HR information systems (HRIS).
- Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with recruiting software and applicant tracking systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
Work is performed in a typical corporate office environment.
Physical RequirementsThis is largely a sedentary position requiring the ability to speak, hear, and see. The employee must also be able to lift small objects up to 20 lbs.
Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
TravelNo travel is required.
Work AuthorizationCandidate must be authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Pay Transparency Statement:
We are dedicated to ensuring a thoughtful, compliant, and equitable approach to employment compensation. Our commitment includes conducting a comprehensive salary analysis that considers individual skill sets, qualifications, business needs, internal compensation data, and industry and labor market surveys. The anticipated pay range for this position is 28 USD to 33 USD per hour.
