We are seeking experienced and highly motivated Cloud Administrators with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure, architecture, and operations. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, provisioning, and maintaining secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud environments, primarily using Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will also be expected to manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab, and implement logging and auditing capabilities using tools like Cloud Trail.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. / U.S. Citizen
• A minimum of 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, cloud architecture, or cloud operations role, with a strong focus on AWS Gov Cloud environments
• Strong networking background including understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, NACLs, load balancers, and hybrid connectivity (VPN, Direct Connect)
• Demonstrated expertise in AWS IAM, including creation of roles, policies, and managing access controls across complex systems
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code, including module development, state management, and multi-environment deployments
• Proven experience with Git Lab, particularly in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support automated build and deployment processes
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud Trail for event logging, activity tracking, and support of system audits and incident investigations
• Proficiency in scripting or automation tools such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell, with an emphasis on improving repeatability and reducing manual effort
• Strong understanding of AWS Well Architected Framework leveraging best practices, resource provisioning, cost management strategies, and overall health monitoring
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly document technical procedures and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

• Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security appliances in cloud environments
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Dev Ops Engineer, etc.)

• Design, provision, manage, and monitor cloud-based infrastructure resources in AWS to support scalable and secure environments for internal and external applications
• Architect and implement network solutions including VPCs, Transit Gateways, load balancers, and hybrid connectivity configurations
  
  Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, ensuring consistency, repeatability, and version control across all environments
  
  Assist in the development and implementation of governance across environments ensuring that guard rails are in place to enforce requirements like least privilege and separation of duties
  
  Create and manage IAM roles, groups, and permissions, enforcing security best practices and ensuring appropriate access levels across users, systems, and services
