Business Systems Analyst III; Scrum Master

Amentum is seeking a Business Systems Analyst III (Scrum Master).

Work Schedule:

5 days, 8 hours/day

• Facilitation of technical discussions, decision making, impediment resolution and conflict resolution
• Ensure transparency from Product Owner to scrum team by facilitating internal and external communication
• Perform continual assessment of the maturity of the scrum team and providing coaching and insight in support of greater maturity
• Commitment to continuous process improvement including active facilitation of reviews and retrospectives and incorporation of lessons learned for future sprints
• Schedule and facilitate scrum ceremonies (stand up, poker, planning, demo, retrospective, etc)
• Work with the product owner to refine and prioritize the backlog
• Responsible for planning of sprints based on backlog priority and development team velocity
• Assist in gathering of requirements and creation of user stories
• Ability to create team dashboards and other reports documenting work completed each Sprint
• Helping to establish the definition of done (Acceptance Criteria) for user stories
• Serve as the servant leader for the team to ensure clear communication and organization of the team
• Engage stakeholders, contributors and technical resources to analyze user needs and resource limitations
• Communicate committed stories for the upcoming sprint to backlog owners and stakeholders
• Track and produce key metrics (e.g., burndown, burnup)
• Work closely with the resident SAFe Coach SPC
• High degree of competency using Jira, Rally, and Gitlab

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of experience serving as dedicated Scrum Master

• Scrum Master Certified
• High competency using Jira and Gitlab
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills

Clearance Required:

TS/SCI (Ability and willingness to take CI poly)

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Public Policy, Technology, or a related field.

Minimum Years of

Experience:

3 Years

• AI if applicable to your program
• Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master CSM
• Jira Software Essentials (ACA-900)

US: $120,000 - $130,000
