Russian Linguist (HLT/Technical Support)

Leidos is seeking a Human Language Technology specialist (HLT) with Russian language proficiency to support mission‑focused efforts. This role is linguist‑focused and requires strong language capabilities combined with technical aptitude. The ideal candidate will be linguistically skilled and technically savvy, with the ability to work with data and modern analytical tools.

• Proficiency in Russian language with a minimum of 2+ (ILR or equivalent).
• Experience or demonstrated ability in translation, analysis, or language‑related work.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to work across data management tools and systems.
• Familiarity with IT concepts and data handling practices.

• Experience working with machine learning

• Background in data analysis

  , or related technical fields.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies

• Experience supporting government or mission‑driven environments.

• An active TS/SCI with polygraph is preferred; sponsorship for clearance upgrades is available.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 6–10 years of related experience. (Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
• Candidates must have experience in the Intelligence Community and Operations.
• Must successfully complete a Leidos‑administered language proficiency test or equivalent.
• HLT experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic online research.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Russian.

Pay Range: $92,300.00 – $.
