The Analyst will serve in an Asset-Based Testing role that involves planning, scoping, executing, and reporting on testing of IT and Information Security controls. This role includes managing all phases of assessments and maintaining communication with business partners and stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and scope Asset-Based Assessments, including:
• Development of communications
• Other supporting materials
• Conduct walk-throughs with business partners to identify actual vs. expected controls
• Create test strategies for evaluating actual controls
• Document all work performed to meet IIA reperformance standards
• Document identified issues and compile final reports
• Present assessment results to leadership
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the program

Qualifications

• Experience in control testing, including participation in one or more of the three lines of defense (Audit, ERM, First Line areas)
• Experience in audit and information security risk assessments
• Familiarity with applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations, including:
• FFIEC
• NIST (Cybersecurity Framework, 800 Series)
• ISO (27001/27002)
• SANS/CIS Top 20
• PCI DSS
• GLBA
• NCUA
• Ability to work with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, and third parties
• Effective planning and organizational skills
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including technical writing
• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or related field — or equivalent work/military experience
• Professional certifications such as:
• CISSP
• CISA
• CCSP
• CRISC
• Ability to present findings and conclusions clearly and concisely
• Ability to build effective relationships through rapport, trust, diplomacy, and tact
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
