Portfolio Analytics & Strategy Analyst Senior - Retail Banking

As a Portfolio Analytics & Strategy Analyst Senior within PNC's Retail Banking organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA;
Cleveland, OH;
Washington, DC; or Tyson's Corner, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

- Translate high-level business strategies into structured work streams, project plans, and measurable outcomes.

- Analyze complex business problems by integrating data, technology, business processes, stakeholder needs, risks, and business objectives.

- Partner with business, technology, and analytics teams to define requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

- Build, maintain, and optimize Tableau dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.

- Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using Python, PySpark, SQL, and big data platforms.

- Leverage large-scale datasets to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and actionable business insights.

- Develop business cases, analytical models, and report frameworks that support strategic initiatives.

- Present findings and recommendations through compelling data visualization and business storytelling.

- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for innovation, automation, and process optimization.

- Adapt quickly to new business challenges, technologies, and evolving priorities while maintaining focus on business outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure and solve complex business challenges.

- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable recommendations.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and manage competing priorities.

Required Technical

Skills:

- Strong proficiency in Tableau dashboard design, development, enhancement, and maintenance.

- Advanced experience with Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, manipulation, automation, and analysis.

- Experience working with PySpark and Hadoop ecosystems for large-scale data processing and engineering.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data modeling, analysis, reporting, and complex formulas.

- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills with the ability to communicate complex data insights through executive-level presentations.

- Expertise in data visualization, data storytelling, and translating analytical findings into business recommendations.

- Experience supporting data-driven decision-making through reporting, KPI development, and performance measurement.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with in Retail Banking, including customer, account, household, and relationship-level data.

- Experience analyzing Adobe Clickstream or digital interaction data.

- Knowledge of customer journey analytics, customer engagement, customer experience, and digital channel performance metrics.

- Experience supporting analytics related to:
Customer journeys, Customer complaints, Digital engagement, Customer behavior, and/or Retention and loyalty initiatives.

- Experience with business intelligence, advanced analytics, or customer insights functions.

- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics ecosystems.
