Senior Service Now Developer
Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Service Now Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Service Now Developer, you will be an integral part of the IT and Governance department supporting enterprise-wide risk management and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.
Location:
Vienna, VA
- Lead the technical design and implementation of Service Now GRC/IRM modules, including Policy and Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Management, Vendor Risk Management (VRM), and Business Continuity Management (BCM)
- Translate complex regulatory requirements and enterprise risk strategies into scalable, secure, and automated workflows
- Build and oversee automated indicators, control testing workflows, and evidence collection processes to enhance audit readiness
- Design secure integrations between the GRC suite and external data sources such as Azure AD, Bit Sight, Security Operations, and Financial systems
- Mentor a team of developers in GRC-specific configurations, including Advanced Risk Assessments, Performance Analytics, and UI Builder for executive reporting
- 7+ years of experience in Service Now development and platform engineering
- 3+ years of deep technical expertise within the Service Now GRC/IRM ecosystem
- Proficiency in Service Now scripting (JavaScript, Glide), Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and IRM/GRC Metadata structure
- Experience with risk frameworks such as NIST, ISO, COBIT, or SOC2 and their mapping to technical controls within Service Now
- Ability to explain complex technical risk architectures to non-technical stakeholders including Audit, Legal, and Executive Leadership
