JTG is currently seeking Cleared/Clearable Arabic Simultaneous Interpreters
Location:
Reston, VA
Status:
Freelance, as needed
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:
* Provide translation, interpreting, and transcription services in support of Commissions hearings and interviews held at US Naval Station
* Convey colloquial, idiomatic, and formal discourse through simultaneous interpreting
* Translate general and technical legal materials
* Transcribe English audio/video discovery materials
Basic Qualifications:
* U.S. citizenship and willingness to obtain TS/SCI clearance
* Available for travel for 4-10 weeks at a time
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in legal/court environment and terminology
* Tested at ILR 4 in listening, reading, writing, and speaking
* Current TS/SCI clearance
This position reports to the Program Manager.
