St. Mark Catholic Church in Vienna, VA has an immediate opening for a full-time Business Manager. Working closely with the Pastor, School Principal and Parish Finance Council, the Business Manager is responsible for preparing the parish annual budget; overseeing all accounting and financial functions for church and school; establishing and monitoring internal financial controls; supervising human resource aspects of parish staff operation;

coordinating upkeep and maintenance of the parish grounds and physical plant including facility upgrades and construction; and overseeing major procurements and all vendor contracts.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader and manager who possesses excellent oral and written communication and problem solving skills. This self-starter, one who takes quick initiative, will have the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks concurrently, and to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external contacts, which is also critical.

• BS/BA in accounting, business, finance or a closely-related field
• Minimum of five years' experience in finance/accounting/business management
• Prior experience with Quick Books, Excel, and database management systems
• Minimum of three years' supervisory experience with human resource responsibility
• Catholic in good standing in her/his parish who has demonstrated strengths in leadership, teamwork, decision making, and knowledge of financial and personnel management
