Project Manager Engineering – Aerospace

This role involves managing aerospace engineering projects in the Mid-Atlantic region, overseeing multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Provide project management services focused on the Mid-Atlantic area’s growing aerospace market sector.
• Direct and coordinate single or multidisciplinary teams from development through close-out.
• Manage all aspects of complex small-to-medium projects or routine large projects.
• Produce and coordinate several small-to-medium projects concurrently.
• Establish and maintain client relations, and participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
• Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders.
• Coordinate staffing and workload throughout the project lifecycle to ensure on-schedule delivery.
• Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort to stay within budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.
• Implement QA/QC procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• Successful management of aerospace client projects of varying sizes and complexities.
• Master’s degree.
• PMP certification.
• Interest in digital delivery and AI‑supported workflows in infrastructure projects.
• Preference for candidates residing in the Mid‑Atlantic Area.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 7 years of related experience, including a minimum of 2 years in project management.
• Professional engineering license recognized in the location of the position (PE or P.Eng).
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.

Compensation range (full‑time positions):
Washington, DC: $139,776 - $199,680;
Fulton, MD: $128,128 - $183,040;
Arlington, VA: $139,776 - $199,680;
Glen Allen, VA: $116,480 - $166,400;
Virginia Beach, VA: $116,480 - $166,400.
