Entryway is a national nonprofit operating in 11 regional markets. Founded in 2014, our program reorganized after the pandemic to better serve individuals and families facing situational homelessness. We provide career training, life skills, mentorship, and pathways to full‑time employment and discounted housing in partnership with the apartment industry.
This VISTA position is remote and can be based in any of our eight active markets (Atlanta, Austin, Charleston, Charlotte, Columbus, Dallas‑Fort Worth, Denver, Houston, Nashville, Orlando, Phoenix). Weekly all‑staff video conferences keep everyone informed and foster collaboration.
Member Duties- Build a comprehensive framework of funding opportunities for 11+ service markets, creating calendars and messaging templates.
- Write and submit grant applications to local governments, corporate, family, and private foundations.
- Research national and regional grant opportunities and identify Entryway’s strongest prospects.
- Design and implement a grants management system that integrates data from all markets, providing a complete picture of funding applications.
- Develop a best‑practice guide and grant training materials for Entr Entryway staff.
- Evaluate and identify areas for improvement in grants management and provide actionable recommendations.
